Unit of Competency – TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating platform (boom length 11m or more).

This course aims to give participants the appropriate skills and knowledge to operate a boom-type elevating platform (boom length 11m or more) safely and correctly.

EWP training and assessment includes a theory and practical component including:

  • Legislative requirements
  • Hazards – controls and planning
  • Communications
  • Pre-start inspection
  • Setting up
  • Operational checks
  • General operations
  • Shut down and secure

By successfully completing this course you will be issued with a Licence to Perform High-Risk Work – class WP.
